Apple Pumps $20B into China's Smart Manufacturing, Hails Its Global Leadership

Isabel Ge Mahe, Apple's Vice President and Managing Director of Greater China, stated in a media interview on the 16th that over the past five-plus years, Apple has invested as much as $20 billion in smart manufacturing and green manufacturing in China. Among Apple’s top 200 global suppliers, more than 80% have factories in China, and the level of smart manufacturing in China is among the most advanced in the world.
